Yesterday, Joe Budden would sit down with Sway Calloway for MTV’s “RapFix Live.” As the supergroup, Slaughterhouse, recently released their Shady Records’ debut, Joe Budden is focused back on his solo material. During his conversation with Sway Calloway, Joe Budden talked about numerous topics.
Despite the hype surrounding Slaughterhouse, which consists of Royce Da 5’9, Joell Ortiz, and Crooked I, the album sales did not do very well. Given the changes in the music industry and the slow economy, few albums sell well. In addition to low sales, Slaughterhouse did not receive much promotion in some areas.
Though there were many shortcomings with Slaughterhouse, Joe Budden is pleased with the results. Now that they have the full support of a major label, there is time to work things out for future projects. Joe Budden is now preparing to release his next project, A Loose Quarter, which has no release date as of yet.
