Tonight, the Wizards had this game and John Wall was making sure it was a W for them. But, Isaiah Thomas had other plans, as the Celtics kept themselves in the game. In the end, it came down to a weak fourth quarter from the Wizards and a strong quarter from Boston.
Clearly, the Boston Celtics are up 2-0, unfamiliar territory in the current era, with Isaiah Thomas. Still, the Celtics have gotten things in gear, on a six game win streak, since falling behind 0-2 to the Bulls. The performance Wall had even was outperformed by Isaiah Thomas.
During the post-game press conference, John Wall addressed the major lost. The Wizards’ captain spoke on how they have blown two big leads in Boston and how they kept letting them back into tonight’s game. He explained their play and how they will head back home down 0-2.
