Of the music of the 1970s and 1980s, “We Are Family” is a song most people know. However, they might not be familiar with the voices behind the song. The forces behind the song are Sister Sledge, a well-known pop group.
One of the members, Joni Sledge, has made quite a name for herself in the Phoenix area. As she has gotten older, Joni Sledge has kept doing shows and performing. Unfortunately, Joni Sledge is the subject of some real bad news.
A couple of hours ago, news broke that Joni Sledge was found dead in her Phoenix home. Her cause of death is undetermined, at this moment, but her publicist confirmed that she is indeed dead. Marking her death, ABC 15 Phoenix has done a spotlight feature on her.
