Joycelyn Savage claims that she is engaged to R. Kelly
Last month, R. Kelly was finally sentenced, in his sex and trafficking crimes trial, in Brooklyn. The disgraced R&B star received 30 years in prison. Kelly was initially convicted back in September, of all nine counts. He has since reveled plans to appeal the sentencing. Kelly also has two more trials in Illinois and Minnesota.
Kelly has been accused of being sexually involved with young girls, for decades. This includes Joycelyn Savage, who had been living with Kelly in Trump Tower, in Chicago. They appeared to be in a relationship as well, as Savage’s family had been trying to get her away from Kelly. Savage lived there with Kelly’s other girlfriend, Azriel Clary. Savage and Clary ended up falling out, after getting into a physical fight, after Kelly’s CBS interview.
According to TMZ now, Savage is claiming that she is engaged to Kelly, in a letter written to a judge. This is also something that her family never knew. This letter was written by Savage in order to get Kelly a lighter sentence, as she claimed “I’m Robert Kelly’s fiance.”
Savage added that she’s not the victim by Kelly, that the government is portraying her to me. She even claimed that her relationship with him is “amazing.” Savage went on to say that the two have a special connection, and that they’re “deeply in love.”
