Watching Kawhi Leonard rise to become a force in the NBA has been an amazing story. The 2017 playoffs is where he has really come into his own. That’s something he has in common with John Wall, Westbrook, and Isaiah Thomas.
But, Kawhi Leonard has a better team he is leading than these other guys. In other words, Leonard’s Spurs are the only team most people believe can beat the Golden State Warriors. This ankle injury and how dude keeps falling over is stopping that.
Kawhi Leonard just had two straight plays that hurt his ankle. The second one took him out for the whole game, which Doris Burke just shared. Now, the Spurs fans are pissed their man is out, but they know he’s the MVP, because Kawhi had them down 25 and now they’re on a 16-0 run.
