Controversially, the Toronto Raptors traded DeMar DeRozan away, in exchange for Kawhi Leonard. Fans felt the Raptors were disloyal for trading their franchise player to the Spurs. Because of this, many have hoped Kawhi Leonard doesn’t re-sign with Toronto.

Following the Raptors’ play, in Game 1, where the Orlando Magic beat them, led by D.J. Augustin, many felt Leonard may leave. Tonight, he stepped up as a leader, and dropped 37 points. Aside from Leonard’s strong play, Kyle Lowry scored 22 points, making up for scoring zero.

Kawhi Leonard spoke with the press, following the Toronto Raptors’ blowout win, over the Magic. Always calm and collected, Leonard was pleased about the Raptors’ win, but aware they have to do it three more times, in order to move on. He also spoke on Kyle Lowry bouncing back with a solid game, plus Game 3.
