Last weekend, Keke Palmer broke the internet. This was due to hosting “Saturday Night Live,” and also announcing her pregnancy that night. This was revealed during Keke’s opening monologue, as she happily showed off her baby bump. This will be her first child, as she’s expecting this child with boyfriend Darius Jackson.
However, Keke has been receiving some unusual criticism online, for not having makeup. One photo with Jackson went viral, where she happily spotted no makeup. Unfortunately, many have been saying on social media, that Keke is ugly without makeup. Now, the actress is clapping back at these bold claims, on Twitter, as of this morning.
“I just saw a few comments of ppl saying I was ugly cause I wasn’t wearing any makeup. And I really want y’all to get the help y’all need because makeup isn’t real. I’m beautiful in real life, because of who I am, not what I look like.”
It’s great to see Keke remain confident in her looks, even in the midst of how people want her to be seen. She’s been unproblematic throughout her years of fame, dating back to her childhood. These type of comments are definitely unwarranted.
