Because of his 2012 debut, Kendrick Lamar will always hold a special place in the hearts of hip hop fans. Although his second album didn’t impact as hard as his debut, Kendrick Lamar has two platinum albums under his belt. This means he has a big and dedicated fanbase.
Kendrick Lamar decided to stay out of the spotlight when most would have kept releasing projects. Instead, Kendrick Lamar slowly faded from the forefront and soon faded back in. He lacked the explosive singles of 2012, but the audience is still here for it.
Earlier this afternoon, Kendrick Lamar announced a new offering he has for the fans. Doing intimate concerts in eight cities, Kendrick Lamar is doing a mini tour, of sorts. He titles this new venture Kunta’s Groove Sessions and he announced it via Instagram.
