Dr. Dre has helped deliver the hip hop world several stars. Among the stars created under the watchful eye of Dr. Dre include Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, Game, and now Kendrick Lamar. Stars who have turned to Dr. Dre mid-career include Tupac Shakur, LL Cool J, and Jay-Z.

Eight years have passed since Dr. Dre turned Game into a household name. Now, he has taken up time with another Compton emcee, Kendrick Lamar. Dr. Dre thought so much of the young rapper, he signed the entire Top Dawg Entertainment to his Aftermath label. The first project released in this union will be Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d. city.

In two weeks, Kendrick Lamar will release his official debut album. Kendrick Lamar has released several street albums over the past few years. Impressing on the independent level, the Compton rapper is set to prove he can truly rise to stardom. good kid, m.A.A.d. city is set to be released on October 22.
