Everyone has watched Kendrick Lamar blossom from a promising Los Angeles mixtape rapper to the man crowned “Hottest MC in the Game” by MTV. While watching the growth of Kendrick Lamar, everyone has offered commentary on Kendrick. Most have narrowed it down to either Kendrick Lamar or Nas who finished with 2012’s hottest album.
Nas crowned Kendrick Lamar and sang his praises, congratulating him on a very strong rookie year. Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar showed Nas with compliments on his unprecedented comeback. All of the members of hip hop have offered comments about the Los Angeles phenom, except Jay-Z.
However, earlier this week, Young Guru revealed at SXSW 2012 that Jay-Z will appear on the remix of Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe.” There have been no comments from either Jay-Z or Kendrick Lamar. MTV News caught up with Kendrick Lamar and he spoke on the upcoming song with the network.
