Back in 2020, Kid Cudi scored his first ever number one single. That was as a result of releasing his “The Scotts” single, with Travis Scott. At the time, the two briefly had their own group, The Scotts. Their single also went on to go platinum in the US.

Many fans had wanted a collab album from Cudi and Travis, but that has yet to happen. Cudi also recently shut that possibility down from happening, as well. A fan asked him on Twitter if that is “still on the cards.” However, Cudi replied “Naw I’m not doin that. That moment has passed.”

This is very unfortunate for fans of both artists, as many expected that that project could’ve saw massive success, as well. However, Cudi did release his eighth studio album, “Entergalactic,” this past September. That saw a number 13 debut in the US, as Cudi released 15 new songs. This included collaborations with 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, Don Toliver, Steve Aoki, and more. Entergalactic was led by singles such as “Do What I Want” and “Willing To Trust” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

This week, Cudi’s 2009 “Pursuit Of Happiness” single, featuring MGMT and Ratata, also went diamond. That became his first diamond record. His 2009 debut album “Man On The Moon: End Of Day” also just went 4x platinum.
