What a lot of people still consider new is the same old to the people who live out here on the West Coast. Dudes like Kid Ink have been putting on for Los Angeles, it’s just been the past two years that the rest of the game started paying attention. It’s better late than never, seeing how Kid Ink signed a deal earlier this year.
Even before the deal, Kid Ink was making himself known, dropping Up & Away as an independent album. This year, Kid Ink dropped an EP, Almost Home, that made a pretty big impact. Early in 2014, Kid Ink will make his official major label debut with his new album, My Own Lane.
Kid Ink is giving his fans a little over a month to get prepared for the album. My Own Lane has a release date of January 7 and his music has picked up a lot more momentum going into it. Last night, Kid Ink took to his Instagram to release the official album cover for My Own Lane.
