Kidd Kidd talks new single with Lil Wayne and more with Hip Hop Since 1987 [VIDEO]

Kidd Kidd 3New generations of hip hop are sprouting up all over the world. In New Orleans, they have had a prolonged run at the forefront of the game courtesy of Lil Wayne and the other Cash Money members from the city. When Lil Wayne reached the top of his popularity, he introduced Kidd Kidd to the game.

His outro verse on “Mrs. Officer” off Tha Carter III made Kidd Kidd a household name late in 2008. After that, nothing else came from Kidd Kidd and he soon was no longer a part of the Young Money camp. Unfortunately, the rest of Young Money went on to have success while Kidd Kidd was an afterthought.

The previous sentence was true until earlier this year, 50 Cent signed Kidd Kidd two years ago and he’s been off and running since then. All is still well with Kidd Kidd and Lil Wayne, who is appearing on his upcoming single. Kidd Kidd talked to Hip Hop Since 1987 about the upcoming single and more.
