Latto wins Big Femme Energy Award
Over the last two years, Latto has been one of hip-hop’s biggest breakout stars. Her “B*tch From Da Souf” remix with Saweetie and Trina propelled her to stardom that year, and the only way was up for her, from that point. That included the success of her 2002 debut album “Queen Of Da Souf.”
In 2021, Latto achieved even more star status, with her “Big Energy” single. That went on to peak at number four, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also went 2x platinum in the US. This past spring, the remix included Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled. Latto soon released her sophomore album, “777,” which had a number 15 debut in the US.
This past weekend, Latto was also honored with another impressive award. This was with the Big Femme Energy Award, which was given at the Give Her FlowHERS Awards Gala, at The Beverly Hilton, in Los Angeles. The event was hosted by Femme It Forward.
