Saturday nights on Starz are the place to be, for the hip hop audiences, at least. With “Power” now done for the season, “Survivor’s Remorse” is airing. The series, currently in its second season, is executive produced by LeBron James.

“Survivor’s Remorse” stars Jessie T. Usher, Mike Epps, Tichina Arnold, and RonReaco Lee. The show is about a rising NBA star, Cam Calloway (Usher), adjusting to his new life. Last Saturday, the second episode of season two aired.

This afternoon, Starz had big news for “Survivor’s Remorse” fans. The series, after only two episodes airing in season two, is renewed for a third season. An executive from Starz, Carmi Zlotnik, released a statement about the season renewal.

Read the official statement below:

“We are thrilled to renew ‘Survivor’s Remorse’ for a third season, ” said Carmi Zlotnik, Managing Director of Starz. “Since it began, the critics instantly embraced the show, and now we’ve seen its fans grow season over season. This all-star creative team, led expertly by Mike O’Malley, boldly tackles the most topical of issues with heart and humor as the Calloway family deals with ‘pro-money and pro-problems’ off the basketball court. We are very happy and proud to have them return to STARZ for another season.”
