The friendship between The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur came to an abrupt end in 1994, when Tupac visited Quad Studios. The Notorious B.I.G. and the Junior M.A.F.I.A. were already in the studio recording when Shakur arrived. When he was spotted, Tupac Shakur was invited up to the recording session. Before he made it to the session, Tupac was attacked and shot.
The Notorious B.I.G., Lil’ Cease, and the other Junior M.A.F.I.A. members all rushed out of the studio to check on Tupac Shakur. Immediately after he was shot, Tupac blamed The Notorious B.I.G. and began an onslaught of disses. Eventually, Tupac Shakur began telling the world he had sexual intercourse with B.I.G.’s estranged wife, Faith Evans.
One year ago, it was revealed the shooting was actually a plot led by James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond, who wanted Tupac Shakur’s jewelry. He sent a hired gun, Dexter Isaac, to remove the jewelry. Not giving up his jewelry, the robbery quickly turned violent and Isaac ended up shooting Shakur five times. However, the world did not learn this story until nearly two decades later.
Lil’ Cease discussed the shooting and the following beef, he, The Notorious B.I.G., and Junior M.A.F.I.A. engaged in with ThisIs50.com.
