Yesterday, Hip Hop Vibe interviewed Haitian Fresh and he had nothing but good things to say about Lil Durk. In 2012, Lil Durk was a part of the Chicago explosion into the rap game. This year, Lil Durk was able to establish himself more as a star in his own right outside of his affiliations.
Because Lil Durk was good friends with Lil Reese, a lot of people thought he was a member of GBE. But, when this summer hit and Lil Durk ended up getting into a Twitter beef with Chief Keef, it was clear he was not a member. Later, Lil Durk explained that he was the head of his own crew.
Lil Durk is past all of that and now he has a surprise planned for Christmas. He took to his Twitter yesterday and he mentioned a Christmas surprise and then tweeted Lil Reese. Because of DJ Holiday and DJ Pharris being mentioned in the tweet, it looks like he has a joint mixtape in the works with Lil Reese.
