Recent months have seen Lil Durk return to the spotlight, as he is preparing the release of his new mixtape. Next up from Lil Durk is his new mixtape, Signed To The Streets 3, followed by his debut album. His Def Jam debut, Remember My Name, is coming later this year.
A few days ago, Lil Durk talked to Hip Hop Vibe when he met up with us in New York City. It was after this interview when we played Fetty Wap’s smash single, “Trap Queen,” for him. After hearing the song, Lil Durk loved it and immediately jumped on it.
Lil Durk tweeted Fetty Wap and he told him he would be jumping on the “Trap Queen” record with his own remix. The track has yet to come out, but fans cannot get enough of the idea of both Lil Durk and Fetty Wap on the same record. He promised, yesterday, that the freestyle was coming sooner than people think, as he tweeted out the lyrics to the remix and put it on Instagram.
