The current situation Lil Wayne is in is one that has everyone talking, because of how far he has come. After years of being a “son” to Birdman, Lil Wayne is battling him and Cash Money Records in court. There were rumors of Lil Wayne being upset with Birdman in 2003-2004.
When Jay-Z talked to “The Breakfast Club” in 2013, he revealed he could’ve signed Lil Wayne in 2005. Within the next calendar year, there would be tension between Lil Wayne and Birdman. Despite Lil Wayne often going off, Birdman has remained silent.
Lil Wayne has been all over the news in the months since he first revealed he wanted off Cash Money Records. Since then, all of Lil Wayne’s news has been related to Cash Money Records and his own label, Young Money. But, this changed when a lurker was spotted outside Lil Wayne’s Miami Beach home, claiming to know Wayne, which he did not, and then he was arrested.
