Lil Wayne released his highly anticipated “Tha Carter V” album back in September of 2018 after years of delays. Fans of the hip-hop legend approved of that project heavily as it went on to be certified platinum. It contained hits such as “Uproar” featuring Swizz Beatz and “Let It Fly” feat. Travis Scott. Since then, fans have been waiting for the next project by Weezy which is his “Funeral” album.

Wayne just took to Instagram this evening to announce that Funeral will officially be out on January 31. This is after posting on IG last night saying that the album will be out “soon.” Anticipation will grow even more over the next week and a half as many feel that Wayne may end up having one of the best albums of 2020. No singles have been released yet but that could change shortly before Funeral’s release.
