Lil Wayne to appear on remix of YG’s “My Nigga”

Despite releasing a high-selling album early in the year, Lil Wayne has not received too much attention this year. It is perplexing, but Lil Wayne’s descent has led to some other artists getting exposure like YG. Back in 2010, YG had a breakout year, but he disappeared soon after that.

Through Def Jam, YG linked up with Young Jeezy and soon he joined CTE. Jointly, they left Def Jam and they are now doing business at Roc Nation with Jay-Z. Before this, the two had formed quite the duo. They showed out on Yo Gotti’s “Act Right” and they have kept their run going with YG’s “My Hitta” also featuring Rich Homie Quan.

Tonight, YG held a listening session for his debut album, My Krazy Life. “My Hitta,” of course, is the lead single off the record, but YG decided to go in and do something different for the remix. During the session, the remix played, but it might not hit the world until early 2014 for listening pleasures.
