Maybach Music was not the only label to make news for their signings in recent months. Perhaps due to their track record, not much was made of Bad Boy Records’ addition of Machine Gun Kelly during the summer of 2011. However, when French Montana was signed to Bad Boy, it was all over the news. Signing the artists was only one part of the mission for Diddy, the next part is developing the artists.
Currently, Diddy is focused on French Montana, as his buzz in New York City is incredible. The Bronx rapper is preparing for the release of his “Shot Caller (remix)” video, which features bars from Diddy, along with a verse from Rick Ross. MTV caught up with Diddy during the shoot for the video. During the video shoot, Diddy revealed more information about the Bad Boy label, announcing Los was the latest rapper to sign with the label.
