“Empire” both started and ended in dramatic fashion and Terrence Howard brought it as Lucious Lyon. Only, Lucious Lyon is a character that was made up by Dwight Walker, Lucious’ original name. Comparable to daytime’s Victor Newman, Lucious named himself to be successful.
Tonight marked the season finale for “Empire” and it ended with the arrest of Lucious. In between, Snoop Dogg and Juicy J made cameos and he found out Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) slept with his girlfriend, Anika (Grace Gealey), and he bonded with Jamal. Indeed a big episode.
Lucious ended up getting arrested, as his sons, Andre (Trai Byers) and Hakeem set him up, just as he bonded with the other son, Jamal (Jussie Smollett). Their bonding led to him giving Jamal the company reigns. With Lucious being arrested, the fans on Twitter had a field day.
