Last night, into this morning, a majority of American people rang in 2017 with Mariah Carey. One of the most-gifted vocalists in the music industry, Mariah Carey came off as a little touched, this morning. All morning long, fans have been making fun of her.
Mariah Carey is entering her thirtieth year in the game, so she knows a thing or two about scrutiny. To say the least, situations like these barely phase her. However, the constant tweets for hours on end and the accompanying headlines do become annoying.
The year of 2017’s start would put pressure on most artists, but none of those artists are Mariah Carey. Instead, she laughed the whole situation off, embarrassing anyone who had jokes. She brushed it off with a tweet, boasting a GIF of herself.
