Longtime viewers of “Power” are understandably disappointed that season six will be the show’s final season. These same viewers, though, no it is ending at the right time. So much has happened that now the show has to end.
Several times over, Ghost (Omari Hardwick) has broken up with Tasha and Angela (Naturi Naughton, Lela Loren) for the other. Also, he and Tommy (Joseph Sikora) have turned on each other several times. The only thing left to do is handle Dre (Rotimi) since Kanan (50 Cent) died.
Yesterday, Courtney Kemp announced Mary J. Blige will star in the sequel series. Season six will be broken into two parts, a ten episode “Book I,” which begins on August 25. Then, there is the “Book II: Ghost,” where Mary J. Blige will star, following her “My Life” episode on “Tales,” starring Grace Byers.
