One of hip hop’s most storied acts is the Wu-Tang Clan. Featuring nine of the most dope rappers ever seen, the crew immediately went down in history. Older fans often speak on the golden era of hip hop. When names are mentioned, Wu-Tang is one of the first ones to pop up.

As solo artists, RZA, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, and Ol’ Dirty Bastard all made names for themselves. Masta Killa is also a standout in the Wu-Tang Clan, as a solo artist. Before he was active in the rap game, Masta Killa was a devoted high school student.

It was during the recording of “Protect Ya Neck” when Masta Killa decided to leave school to pursue rap. From there, Masta Killa joined Wu-Tang Clan and took a major stake in hip hop history. Masta Killa spoke on this during a recent interview he conducted.
