Master P and Snoop Dogg suing Walmart over Snoop Cereal

Master P has had a huge impact on the hip hop industry, over the years. P was the first mogul in the industry to make that kind of money. Over the course of five years, he actually made $750 million. All of this came from the success associated with No Limit Records. While P made forays back into music, he shifted to the food products industry. But there is turmoil over there. P, along with Snoop Dogg, is suing both Walmart and Post Foods, due to the stores hiding Snoop Cereal from the customers.

Master P was the first hip hop mogul to truly make hundreds of millions of dollars. This was due to him establishing a distribution deal, as opposed to a traditional record deal. The deal allowed P to go out and sign his own artists. In addition, his label, No Limit Records, released countless albums, under a schedule they determined. During that period of time, P had so much money that he ended up loaning money to the label distributing No Limit.

Master P took the same business strategies he used in music to food products. Continuing to follow the formula, once P established his food product company, he began bringing people in. While he already had cereal, he has Snoop Dogg to become the face of his own cereal brand. The Snoop Cereal brand is now in the middle of controversy. Apparently, Walmart and Post Foods have been hiding the cereal in stores. As a result, Master P and Snoop have launched a lawsuit.
