When it comes to iconic music, Earth, Wind, & Fire is up there. They opened the door for the current people in music to do what they do and that includes all genres. The man who started the group was Maurice White.
Maurice White was the visionary behind “September,” one of the most iconic wedding songs in history. To discuss what Earth, Wind, & Fire has done and what they mean to music means talking all day. The group does deserve more recognition for their efforts.
It looks like there will be more Earth, Wind, & Fire recognition, but for the wrong reasons. This morning, news broke of Maurice White passing away. The Earth, Wind, & Fire founding member was 74 years young.
