Although it’s easy to overlook, Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj are hip hop’s most-discussed couple. They may not be worth as much as some of the others, but they are the people hip hop is talking about. Their relationship began grabbing headlines late last year and the two have had fun with it.
Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj were friends for years, as both emerged during the same period of time. When they began dating, things moved very fast, as the media tried to figure out what was going on. Ironically, the world wondered if they were engaged before they even confirmed being an item.
The Fader sat down with Meek Mill and they talked about everything for their cover story with him. In the interview, Meek Mill talked about Dreams Worth More Than Money, among many other things. Nicki Minaj came up in the conversation and he confirmed she is indeed his girlfriend, but said they are not rushing things by getting engaged.
