All eyes are on Philadelphia, as Meek Mill and Cassidy fire shots back and forth at each other. Until recently, Meek Mill and Cassidy shared a cordial relationship, as they are both from the same city. Between the two, there are several comparisons that can be made.
A decade apart, Meek Mill and Cassidy did the same thing for the Philadelphia hip hop scene when the city needed it the most. But, since Meek Mill has been famous, he and Cassidy seem to be unable to get along. The two got into quite a few Twitter exchanges before there was full blown beef.
While Meek Mill is active in his feud with Cassidy, he has been more focused on his music. The latest project from Meek Mill is Dreamchasers 3, which will be released later this year. Meek Mill spoke to Hip Hop Since 1987 about both the feud with Cassidy and his upcoming mixtape, in addition to the “Dreams & Nightmares Intro” video.
