Megan Thee Stallion added to Lollapalooza lineup in Chicago
On Thursday, Lollapalooza made some changes to their upcoming Chicago festival, which is taking place in August. This will be inside of Grant Park in the downtown area, from August 1-4. Thursday’s update included Tyler, The Creator revealing that he suddenly had to drop out of the lineup.
“I hate saying this but I have to cancel Lollapalooza and Outside Lands,” said Tyler, The Creator wrote on Twitter/X. “I made a commitment that I can no longer keep, and that bums me out knowing how excited folks were. That is not sexy at all. Please please forgive me or call me names when you see me in person. Love.”
As a result, Megan Thee Stallion has replaced Tyler on this Lollapalooza lineup. Both are currently two of the hottest artists of 2024, as it definitely makes up for the loss of Tyler.
Lollapalooza 2024 has plenty of headlining stars, which also include Future and Metro Boomin, SZA, Stray Kids, Blink-182, and more. In addition to them, fans can check out Sexyy Red, Dominic Fike, Killer Mike, Victoria Monét, and much more.
This announcement also comes as Megan’s third studio album, “Megan,” is coming on June 28. She initially announced this at her Atlanta show, earlier this month. 18 songs are on the way, which are led by singles such as “Cobra,” “BOA,” and the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “Hiss.”
