When keeping it too real backfires is what YNW Melly is currently experiencing. The Florida rapper had a series of songs out, but the most-recognized is “Murder On My Mind.” It was the lyrics of those songs that helped land him behind bars.
YNW Melly was accused, by the Florida justice system, of being involved in the murders of his friends. Since that information surfaced, he has been behind bars. This afternoon, the courts gave their ruling, and it’s the death penalty.
Now, fans have taken to Twitter and they are highly upset. Their anger is at Florida for giving YNW Melly the death penalty, when he may not be guilty. However, George Zimmerman got off with a slap on the wrist, when he was found guilty of murder.
