The world got to know Yandy Smith-Harris and Mendeecees, on “Love & Hip Hop.” Sadly though, he was sentenced to eight to ten years in prison, in January of 2016. He was arrested on charges of drug trafficking. Most of the sentence came from transporting cocaine from New York City to Rochester. He originally plead guilty in 2015.
Yandy held it down for Mendeecees and he is now officially out after four years, according to The Shade Room. She also posted a video to her Instagram page of the two exiting a Bentley truck shortly after leaving the prison.
During Mendeecees’ time away, Yandy continued on “Love & Hip Hop.” On the show, she took in a foster child, as well as holding the family down. She and her mother-in-law, Judy Harris, have had quite a few run-ins. Meanwhile, Yandy has also had to contend with the mothers of his other children, shown both on and off camera.
