While RZA is the leader of Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man is arguably the most-popular member of the group. Perhaps, Method Man is more known to the masses for his work with Redman. But, Method Man is known by hardcore hip hop fans for being one with the Wu.

Many of the core members of Wu-Tang have expressed disappointment in the direction of the group. RZA had very public issues with Raekwon that delayed the recording of the group album. To date, Wu-Tang Clan hasn’t released a new album since 2007.

Method Man recently spoke out about Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, which is the group’s first album since 2007. The album will not be released for 88 years, giving it time to be a work of art, but Method Man is no fan of the concept. He spoke about this with XXL, prompting RZA to react in a handful of tweets about why he chose this direction.
