Since 2013, Migos have been the hottest trio in rap. For three consecutive summers, they delivered hit singles. They even received a co-sign from Drake for their efforts, but not everything they touched was successful.
Migos were signed to 300 Entertainment, the home to many popular rising artists. However, Migos would leave the label only days after their album release. Given their popularity, they felt leaving the label was no major loss.
Currently, Migos are pushing their single, “WOA,” which they hope to be their first 2016 hit. This wouldn’t be a problem if not for Owey, a popular rapper from Pittsburgh, already making the song. He calls his version “Drip” and he is making major accusations about the Atlanta trio.
