Jersey Shore alumni Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino is finally out of prison. As many remember, The Situation got in some trouble for tax evasion, resulting in an 8 month stint in prison.
He was released at 8:30 AM this morning. Cameras for the Jersey Shore show have been rolling capturing every moment since his release. They both put out a joint statement celebrating his release.
“We are elated to finally close this chapter of our life. Thank you to our family, friends and fans for the continuous love and support during this time, it brought us so much peace and comfort.”
The Situation himself shared the good news on social media.
One of the first stops Mike made after serving 8 months in prison was his favorite pizza joint, Denino’s, in Matawan, New Jersey. They picked up two vodka pies, a cheese and tomato pie, broccoli rabe and sausage pie, chicken fingers, fries and some fried shrimp.
