Few NBA franchises have been as disappointing as the Charlotte Hornets. This is a team that has had boatloads of potential, especially during the Kemba Walker era. But, poor decisions, and a refusal to win winnable games has netted the team two playoff appearances.
Making the playoffs, twice, over eight years is terrible, but the Hornets have done better in drafting. When they landed Miles Bridges, many fans said he was a potential star. However, fans blamed the new coach for barely playing him, but he did last night.
Speaking of losing winnable games, early in the season, the Hornets took a blowout loss to the struggling Washington Wizards. After striking out in the Marc Gasol trade proposal, the Hornets have to use what they’ve got. Last night, they started Davis, he had a complete game, and the Hornets won, pleasing fans.
