For the past couple of years, Rick Ross has led the game with his Maybach Music team. He ran 2011 when he signed Wale and Meek Mill because they hit the ground running with strong releases. In 2012, Rick Ross focused back on his music and had a strong run.
Rick Ross planned to spend 2013 running the company and releasing a new project, but it didn’t work out like that. Big wins were picked up for the Miami emcee, as he signed Fat Trel and Tracy T to the label. Unfortunately, no album came from Rick Ross, but he dropped “The Devil Is A Lie” with Jay-Z.
Like he did when he first signed Wale and Meek Mill, Rick Ross is doing his interview rounds with his new signees. Rick Ross, Fat Trel, and Tracy T hit up KC Chopz, who is on for Power 96.5 in Miami and Ross spoke on “The Devil Is A Lie” featuring Jay-Z and the collective talked about their 2014 projects.
