Moneybagg Yo has been one of the hottest rappers in the game since 2017 as he’s been consistent and has created plenty of hits. In 2020, he released his “Time Served” album which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and also the collab “Code Red” album with fellow Memphis and CMG rapper, Blac Youngsta.
In a new interview with HotNewHipHop.com, Moneybagg reflected on a huge collab he released in 2018 which was his “Say Na” single featuring J. Cole which appeared on his “Reset” album. Here, he explains how he should’ve put this record out at a later date. Moneybagg feels that it would’ve been much bigger if this was the case.
“I wish I would’ve waited on the J. Cole feature I had,” said Moneybagg. “I feel like it would’ve been– it would’ve impacted differently. I feel like that. There’s a few more, my whole Heartless album that I did, I feel like it would be the perfect timing.”
The “Reset” album that “Say Na” went on to debut at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 chart. 15 tracks were included in total with other appearances by Future, Kodak Black, YG, Kevin Gates, Rvssian, and Jeremih.
