The Memphis Grizzlies are having an amazing year, as they finished the regular season with a 56-26 record. Memphis won many games without their superstar, Ja Morant, in the lineup due to injury as well, as they showed their impressive depth. Memphis will take on the winner of the Minnesota Timberwolves/Los Angeles Clippers from Tuesday’s play-in tournament game.
Ahead of the Grizzlies’ first round matchup, Ja Morant is about to receive a huge gift from Moneybagg Yo. Moneybagg Yo is still one of the hottest rappers in Memphis. ‘Bagg took to his Instagram stories tonight, to show off an iced out Bread Gang chain, that he will give to Morant. Bread Gang is Moneybagg’s own record label.
“Come get yo trophy,” said Moneybagg on IG. “Proud of ya, bra. #Big 12.”
Ja Morant is currently averaging 27 points, five rebounds and six assists per game, in this third season in Memphis. He is also expected to make one of the All-NBA teams, at the end of this season. Many fans believe that the Grizzlies can go all the way to the NBA Finals, but the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors are in their way.
