Towards the end of 2017, Mo’Nique returned to the spotlight, leaving a lot of people wondering when she left. Like all people in that position, Mo’Nique said she never left. Truth be told, though, she wasn’t in the spotlight, and things did move on.
Those truths led to Mo’Nique getting into some controversies with heavy hitters. Not only did she take on Lee Daniels, she also took on Netflix. Perhaps her approach was wrong, but Mo’Nique did bring up some very good points.
For a few days, rumors have suggested Mo’Nique went on Steve Harvey’s show, and slapped him. Whether or not that happened, the world will probably never know. Things did get pretty heated, though, and Steve Harvey shared that clip, himself.
