A good number of Murs’ most-notable singles and favorite tracks come alongside his partner in rhyme, 9th Wonder. Closing in on a decade, the two formed the popular duo, Murs and 9th Wonder. Last year, the two decided to call it quits and leave the game on top.
In 2012, there were a lot of changes in hip hop. Additional rappers known for mixtape fame gained success. Through the efforts of guys like Macklemore and A$AP Rocky, homosexuality has become more embraced in hip hop. Murs also played a part in his video for “Animal Style,” where he kissed a man.
Last week, Murs happened to be in Los Angeles and this led to him stopping by their popular radio station, Power 106. Talking to Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Murs spoke on the “Animal Style” music video. The talk centered around Murs kissing a man in the music video.
