Last week, the hip hop world feared for the end of Mobb Deep, as a tweet from Havoc made it seem as if his bromance with Prodigy had ended. Once the rant was posted and Prodigy was unavailable for comments, the press ran with the idea of Mobb Deep ending. A “source close to Mobb Deep” even went as far as stating fans should not expect to hear anything new from the duo.
With all of the rumors about trouble in Mobb Deep paradise, Havoc tried to diffuse rumors of a breakup, but audio had already been confirmed by N.O.R.E. Despite this, the duo attended a New York Knick game, which was followed by Prodigy addressing the media. Speaking on the “feud” with Havoc, Prodigy blamed it on people upset with them over business who tried to ruin them.
N.O.R.E. may have played a part in the rumors of a Mobb Deep feud. Earlier today, N.O.R.E. spoke on the role he played with Vlad TV. Known for his antics, N.O.R.E. has remained to stay out of hip hop beef, even though he runs the popular website, 57thAve. N.O.R.E. said he confirmed the audio, but he only did so as one of his jokes.
