Since he announced Life is Good and revealed the July 17 release date, Nas has been the king of New York. Few New York rappers have the same buzz Nas has enjoyed since April of this year. Over the past four months, Nas has released several, well-received, songs and has conducted several interviews.
All of that work set the stage for yesterday when Nas made several appearances, speaking on his new album. For the first time in four years, Nas was the center of attention and the fans could not be happier. Nas has also been understandably happy, as yesterday the day all rappers dream of having.
Nas closed his night at Tammany Hall in New York City. Done with the discussion about Life is Good, Nas introduced the world to Life is Good. For those who were in attendance, they watched Nas as he performed the tracks off the album. In the clip below, Nas performed a few tracks off his new album and also performed some of his older tracks.
