Ten years ago, Nelly was one of the biggest hip hop artists in the game. Few artists have had the type of success Nelly had over the years. Nelly went diamond with his debut album and he has continued having success over the past thirteen years with his businesses.
Comparable to all the other artists who had success in the early 2000s, Nelly has suffered a decrease in album sales. His last few albums have not even managed to sell 100,000 copies in his first week, even though his singles have been strong. Today, he is preparing the release of his M.O. album.
Promoting his new album, Nelly stopped by Power 105.1 and he talked about M.O. to the trio of DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. “The Breakfast Club” also talked to Nelly about the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards. With the Miley Cyrus rumor still going strong, Nelly spoke on her.
