Eminem and Mariah Carey were involved in a beef a decade ago. Eminem claimed that he dated Carey but she denied everything. She went on to put out the successful 2009 diss record “Obsessed” which featured Gucci Mane.
Nick Cannon was in a relationship with Carey at the time and wasn’t feeling Eminem for that beef at all. Cannon has now revealed more details in an interview with VladTV about that beef and his issue with Eminem. He said that Gucci offered to handle things for him and take it physically. How he would’ve handled it wasn’t made clear but it likely would’ve been handled himself or sent goons at Em.
Gucci has been staying out of trouble since getting released from prison after two and a half years when he was sentenced in the fall of 2013. This is a very different man now from a decade ago.
