A certain degree of sexiness was added to Young Money when Nicki Minaj first signed with the label. Since 2007, the world had been getting to know Young Money. When Lil Wayne established himself on top of the game, he was sure to introduce the world to Young Money. In need of star power, Drake and Nicki Minaj were signed.
Depending on how it is analyzed, Nicki Minaj has become the biggest artist on the label. At first, Nicki Minaj presented herself as a “hood Barbie.” Now, Nicki Minaj is simply a “barb” and has legions of “barbz” who follow her every move. Nicki Minaj landing a role on FOX’s long-running series, “American Idol,” is proof enough of this.
Previously, Nicki Minaj released her “High School” single with Lil Wayne. The song did well, but no music video came. Correcting this, Nicki Minaj has returned with her music video for the single, “High School.” Showing how she delivered the sexiness to Young Money in the first place, Nicki Minaj put it all out on display for “High School.”
