Nicki Minaj talks Hot 97 Summer Jam 2012, Lil’ Kim “funeral,” Peter Rosenberg, and New York City performance [AUDIO]

In a matter of days, Nicki Minaj has become a major topic of discussion, regarding her not performing at Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2012. Before Nicki Minaj was set to perform, Hot 97’s personality, Peter Rosenberg, dissed Nicki Minaj. The people at Hot 97 said Nicki Minaj did not want to do Summer Jam and was looking for a way out. Lil Wayne took to his Twitter to reveal his entire crew, Young Money, would not be doing Summer Jam.

Throughout the course of yesterday, Nicki Minaj was ridiculed by Hot 97. Funkmaster Flex soon jumped into the frenzy, dissing Nicki Minaj. Looking to explain herself, Nicki Minaj called into Flex’s show on Hot 97. Immediately, the conversation became heated and Nicki Minaj got into a very nasty exchange with Funkmaster Flex. Several personalities from Hot 97 have issues with personalities with Power 105.1.

After trying to get her point across on Hot 97, Nicki Minaj called into Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” to explain herself. Nicki Minaj defended herself, explaining how several people did not come out to perform, though they were slated to. During her interview, Nicki Minaj discussed having Foxy Brown on the set, alongside Nas and Lauryn Hill. The discussion soon turned to the rumors of Nicki Minaj planning a funeral service for Lil’ Kim during her set. When she was asked about this, Nicki Minaj denied it. She also spoke on a free show she was throwing in New York City.
