It’s been five days since Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed in his hometown of Los Angeles by Eric Holder. Holder was captured on Tuesday afternoon in LA and is held at $7 million bond. He was put in solitary confinement in jail by the LAPD.
Different vigils have been held around America over the past week to honor the late west coast legend. His streams for his mixtapes and recent debut studio album ‘Victory Lap‘ have increased tremendously as well.
According to Hits Daily Double, Victory Lap will now re-enter the Billboard 200 at the No. 2 spot. 64,000 SPS will be accounted for. (Sales plus streaming) This is no surprise as fans of Nipsey want to continue to honor his legacy by streaming his music and spread awareness of the good he did in his community. Victory Lap was recently Grammy-nominated as well.
In addition to Victory Lap, expect his previous mixtapes such as ‘Crenshaw,’ ‘The Marathon,’ and ‘The Marathon Continues‘ to enter some charts as well. Be sure to purchase items from his The Marathon Clothing store online as well here.
