Another story has been developed about Caucasian men terrorizing black families, this time from WECT News 6 in Pender County, NC.
In a small town in North Carolina, a high school senior was up late playing video games when there was a knock at the door. As he went to the door, he was surprised to see a large group of people, all Caucasian, demanding information about a missing girl. The group was apparently looking for an individual by the name of Josiah, but when the senior identified himself as Dameon several times, they continued to press for information that he did not have.
Among the people on their porch was someone carrying an assault weapon and another with a shotgun alongside an off-duty cop, later identified as J.T. Kita. The deputy then stuck his foot in the door demanding to come inside, which now woke up Dameon’s mother from her sleep. She also refused to allow the men in their home as they kept demanding to step inside.
Ms. Shepard, the mother of the home, says she called the police and at some point the group realized that they were at the wrong residence and began disbanding. By the time the police arrived to talk with the Shepards, the group had left and the deputies took no names of those in the group nor did they investigate the situation.
Nothing has happened since then, but Shepard’s attorney, James Lea, is on top of it, issuing a letter to the District Attorney from his law firm’s office asking for further investigation.
“We obviously cannot have armed groups of citizens patrolling the streets of Pender County or Hanover County terrorizing innocent families.” James Lea wrote.
